Anastasia Karousou is an experienced Associate within our Energy, Project Finance & Development practice groups. She advises both domestic and international clients on administrative, energy and environment, project finance and public procurement issues. Her expertise encompasses energy and environment, EPC, O&M, Oil & Gas, LNG projects, renewable energy projects, concession agreements, public private partnerships, public tenders, EU, UK and national legislation, contract negotiation, alternative dispute resolution.

Before joining Lambadarios, Anastasia worked as an in-house Legal Counsel at METRON Energy Applications S.A. providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial transactions within the oil, gas, water and energy, as well as on various corporate transactions and client development strategies. She has also worked in international law firms and companies, providing legal advice on complex commercial and financial transactions, cross-jurisdictional investigation proceedings in relation to fraudulent and corrupt practices and participated in international contract negotiations and ADR proceedings.

  • Advising Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A., on an international public tender for the concession of the rights to operate, maintain and commercially exploit the Attica Motorway.
  • Advising Gastrade, a utility company, which develops, exploits, operates and manages natural gas systems, in the context of the development of the Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System (Alexandroupolis FSRU).
  • Advising Piraeus Bank of Greece on the due diligence for the financing of the Contractor in the context of a PPP agreement for the Flyover of Regional Thessaloniki (Flyover Project).

Energy

Oil & Gas

  • Advising an international consortium led by China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co Ltd, in the context of an international public tender for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of an LNG Import Terminal at Vasilikos, Cyprus, with a total value of €500m.*
  • Advised METRON S.A., an international Contractor specializing in the Gas, Oil, Energy and Water markets, on a wide range of commercial and financial transactions in relation to the following projects*:
    – Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB)
    – Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP)
