Lambadarios acted as external legal counsel to the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) on selling its entire holding in Εurobank, one of the four systemic banks, through an auction process.
The €93,7m transaction is a landmark for the Greek banking sector as it signifies the beginning of the Fund’s divestment and the transfer of all its holdings by 2025. The latter will represent the biggest development investment of recent years in the domestic banking sector.
Congratulations to our M&A and Capital Markets teams, Constantinos Lambadarios, Melina Katsimi, Prokopis Dimitriadis, Anna Gkogka, Margarita Kontogeorgou, Virginia Kyrlakitsi and Alexandros Koukoutsis, for their excellent work and contribution to the successful outcome!
We would like to thank the amazing team of HFSF led by chief legal counsel Despina Doxaki and senior legal counsel Naya Boltetsou for their fantastic work and support during the past few months. Also George Katsikas at UBS, the disposal advisor was instrumental in making this transaction a reality. Thank you, George!
