Giorgos Lyras is a member of our trainee team.
Giorgos holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating summa cum laude. He is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Corporate Law & Finance.
He supports matters in Corporate/M&A, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, and Restructuring & Insolvency. His responsibilities include conducting due-diligence reviews, drafting corporate and finance documentation, providing support at closings, and carrying out targeted research on a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters.
His academic interests focus on corporate transactions, capital-markets regulation, creditor remedies, and distressed M&A. Prior to joining LLF, he gained experience in the energy sector and in the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he assisted with contract review, regulatory compliance, and the preparation of research memoranda.
