Giorgos Lyras is a member of our trainee team.
Giorgos holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with highest honors and ranking among the top candidates of his class.
He has strengthened his legal skills through internships in the legal department of a leading energy company in Southeast Europe. During these internships, he assisted with analyzing commercial, public, and labor agreements, conducted research on renewable energy regulations and sustainability frameworks, and contributed to projects on emerging energy technologies.
In addition, Giorgos gained experience in diplomatic affairs during an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, where he researched global Greek diaspora communities and prepared briefing materials for international engagements.
Giorgos handles a wide range of legal issues, primarily in the areas of corporate and employment law, bankruptcy & restructuring and dispute resolution. He undertakes legal research, assists in drafting legal documents, and translating legal material.
