Lambadarios partner, Lefkothea Nteka, participated in the European Competition Day

We are pleased to share that our partner, Lefkothea Nteka, participated in the European Competition Day, held in Lefkosia, on June 4, 2026 under the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Lefkothea spoke alongside Cani Fernandez, President of the CNMC, Anne Wachsmann-Guigon, Brian McHugh, Chair of the CCPC, Vice-President of the Autorite de la Concurrence, and Irini Kefalogianni, Head of Competition Law and Commercial Coca-Cola HBC, with Irene Sharpe, President of the Hellenic Competition Commission as moderator.

The panel examined key challenges in the enforcement of competition law in the Single Market. Lefkothea focused on how companies can best adapt their competition law compliance frameworks to address the challenges arising from periods of economic stress, such as inflation, increasingly fragmented market conditions and divergent local realities across the Single Market, the growing use of algorithms in commercial decision-making, and government measures affecting pricing policies, including price caps and margin caps.
