Congratulations to Alshaya Group on the acquisition of the Starbucks licensed business in Greece and Cyprus, marking a new chapter for one of the world’s most iconic coffee brands in the region.

The transaction involves the transfer of 100% of the shares of Marinopoulos Coffee Company, ushering a new phase under a leading global retail operator.

With an established network of stores across Greece and Cyprus, this milestone reflects the continued evolution of the regional retail landscape and highlights the attractiveness of the market for international investors.

This strategic move is expected to further strengthen Starbucks’ presence in the region, supported by Alshaya’s extensive experience in operating global brands.
