Congratulations to the University of Western Macedonia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the launch of Phase A of the PPP tender process for the University’s student accommodation project.
The initiative concerns a €84,95m Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the development of modern student residences across the University’s campuses, covering the full lifecycle of the project, from design and financing to construction, operation, maintenance and facility management.
The initiative has already generated strong market interest from leading infrastructure and construction groups.
This PPP project is expected to deliver meaningful social impact by providing high-quality, functional and supportive living spaces for students, while reinforcing the University’s role as a key driver of education and regional development.
Our team was led by our partner Georgios Panopoulos, alongside Magdalini-Christina Vlachou-Vlachopoulou, managing associate and Christos Kostopoulos, associate. We thank all parties involved for the excellent cooperation and look forward to the next steps of this important project.
