A new era for the Egnatia Motorway, as, from midnight on 31.12.2025, the 35-year concession of Egnatia Motorway began, for a price of EUR 1.275 billion. In this context, the company Nea Egnatia Odos, whose shareholders are GEK TERNA Group of Companies and Egis, undertakes the management and exploitation of the country’s largest motorway and the three vertical road axes, which connect Greece with Albania, North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
Lambadarios Law Firm acted as Legal Advisor to the state-owned Growthfund as concessionaire during the long and complex tender process for the award of the concession agreement and until the financial close of this seminal transaction on both national and regional level.
