Lambadarios Partners with Museum of Cycladic Art to Support the ‘Cycladic Identity’ Initiative

Lambadarios is proud to announce its collaboration with the Museum of Cycladic Art to provide legal support for the ‘Cycladic Identity’ Initiative. This partnership underscores Lambadarios’ commitment to corporate social responsibility and the preservation of Greece’s rich cultural heritage.​

The ‘Cycladic Identity’ initiative, launched by the Museum of Cycladic Art, aims to actively contribute to the protection of the Cyclades’ heritage by supporting local communities in preserving, restoring, and showcasing the unique elements of their identity. The initiative focuses on three main areas: culture, biodiversity, and intangible heritage, seeking to motivate islanders to participate actively in safeguarding their heritage for a sustainable future. ​

The Museum of Cycladic Art houses one of the most important and complete collections of Cycladic Art in the world.  The Cycladic Art flourished on the islands of the central and southern Aegean during the 3rd millennium BC. It receives no state funding, and its collections belong to the Greek State.

The Museum’s permanent collections include more than 3,000 Cycladic, ancient Greek, and ancient Cypriot artefacts, witnesses to the cultures that flourished in the Aegean sea and the Eastern Mediterranean from the fourth millennium BC to approximately the sixth century AD.
