We are proud to have supported another transformative deal in the Greek legal ecosystem!
Congratulations to the EBRD on sealing a significant agreement that involves a €108m loan to Avis Greece, the biggest leasing and car rental company in Greece. The deal aims to replace the latter’s existing Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) fleet with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).
The deal’s structure includes €40.6m in EBRD financing, complemented by €67.7m from RRF loans through the Greek RRF Co-Financing Framework, part of the NextGenerationEU program. The strategic shift reflects the robust commitment of all agreement parties to sustainability as it will reduce annual CO2 emissions and mark a pivotal step towards a clean air future.
