Lefkothea Nteka, Partner, Head of our Antitrust & Competition practice, discussed the developments in the case law and in the practice of EU and UK competition authorities relating to excessive pricing in the pharmaceutical sector, in the 2nd Law and Health Policies Conference held on 18th October.
Lefkothea referred extensively to the decision of the European Commission in the Aspen case as well as the decisions of the CMA and the respective judgments of the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) and the Court of Appeal in the phenytoin case. She further discussed competition enforcement trends and anticipated developments in the sector.
