International tender for the award of a public contract regarding “Psyttalia Wastewater Treatment Plant”, a seminal environmental project for Greece, completed with huge success!
Lambadarios Law Firm, in its capacity as legal advisor to the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP SA), under the guidance of its Partner Yannis Kourniotis and Senior Associate Magdalini Christina Vlachou Vlachopoulou, is delighted to have assisted EYDAP SA throughout the complex tender procedure for the award of a five-year services agreement regarding the operation and maintenance of one of the most important environmental projects in Greece, Psyttalia Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is the second biggest WWTP in Europe and one of the biggest worldwide. The agreement has been awarded to the Joint Venture “AKTOR SA (40%)-AVAX SA (40%)-ERGOTEM SA (20%)” and includes, among others, important interventions for the modernization of the facility as well as for its functional and energy upgrade, for a total consideration of € 174.9 million (VAT incl.), with the option right for an annual extension (€34.3 million, VAT incl.).
